Golf Course Review by: Billy Satterfield
The Takeaway: The tamer of the two courses, Predator is a layout that accommodates a wider range of golfers while still delivering heroic shots to enjoy. Less dramatic and impressive than Ridge, but more enjoyable on a daily basis. Grade B

What to Expect: The less heralded course of the two at Predator Ridge, the Predator course is quite a bit better than most players may expect. There are plenty of elevation changes, but not to the extremes that the Ridge experiences. The course is more playable for a wide variety of skill levels which is perfect for a resort course. The course that exists today isn’t solely what Les Furber designed. The resort has gone through a variety of changes in routings, holes built for play, and holes that were abandoned. Dick Munn was instrumental in reconfiguring the layout to how it plays currently. Don't sleep on the Predator course, it needs to be played when visiting.
