What to Expect:  Membership at Vaquero reads more like a who’s who list than it does anything else since it boasts relationships with professional athletes, PGA Tour professionals, celebrities, and the swing guru himself – Hank Haney. The Tom Fazio track found outside of Dallas puts a premium on conditioning their bentgrass greens and Zoysia fairways so that playing surfaces are ideal all year long. The gentle rolling terrain Vaquero is set on provides an easy walk for golfers wishing to stroll side by side with the shady oaks, sprawling bunkers, and occasional water features. Lastly, one would be amiss to pass by the chef at the turn that is grilling homemade pork sausages for patrons – these dogs are simply the best I’ve ever had!
