What to Expect:  Quintero is a big course located in the hills of Peoria about an hour from Phoenix's Sky Harbour Airport. The course features several elevation changes and a dramatic set of par 3s, three of which play WAY downhill. If you are familiar with Rees Jones courses then you'll feel right at home with the bunkering style and strategy involved at the course. For the most part you can stand on the tee and know exactly where you need to place your tee ball, but there are some holes where some of the fairway isn't visable. Overall, Quintero is a dramatic course due to the elevation changes and overall length (over 7200) with par 3s that you won't forget and par 5s that present a variety of excellent challenges.

Individual Hole Analysis

Best Par 3:  6th - 219 Yards

The huge drop to the green and bail out area to the right make this a great hole to play
6th Hole at Quintero (219 Yard Par 3)

Best Par 4:  3rd - 406 Yards

The most water on the course is found on the inside of this dogleg
3rd Hole at Quintero (406 Yard Par 4)

Best Par 5:  8th - 586 Yards

A great par five that crosses a ravine and heads up to an elevated green
8th Hole at Quintero (586 Yard Par 5)

Birdie Time:  1st - 388 Yard Par 4

Wide fairway + easy green = birdie opportunity
1st Hole at Quintero (388 Yard Par 4)

Bogey Beware:  8th - 586 Yard Par 5

586 yards uphill over a ravine is a recipe for disaster!
